ROSALINE GUENTHERSept. 7, 1926-Sept. 1, 2020It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosaline Guenther, our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, at the age of 93, after surgery and a short illness.Rosaline was born on Sept. 7, 1926. She is survived by her son, Leonard (Diane); daughters, Elaine (Ed) and Debra (Rick); grandchildren, Corrie (Jean), Jeffrey, Kennan (Kierra), Troy, Melissa (Andrew) and Andrew (Nancy); great-grandchildren, Kaitlynne (Riley), Eric, Brock, Jasmine, Isara, Damien, Destiny, Aiyanna, Victoria and Dante; sisters, Marlene Suderman and Emily (Ben Klassen); brother, William Schalla (Tina); as well as son-in-law, Kemo Hspahic.Rosaline was predeceased by her parents, John W. Schalla and Nathalie Schalla (Streck); beloved husband, Abe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elvin Schalla and Henry and Anne Marie Schalla; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alvina and Freddie Freund and Gus Rosner, Helen and Phillip Roy, Mary and Emil Krentz, Pauline and John Reimer and Louise and Jake Falk; nephews, Wayne Freund and Larry Falk; and niece, Lori (Fiebelkorn) Kwasnica.The private family service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.
