Wilmer (ROY) KOOP
Oct. 15, 1942-Aug. 2, 2020
Wilmer (Roy) Koop passed away Aug. 2, 2020 at the age of 77. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Diane (nee Broesky) Koop, children Curtis, Carrie-Lynn, and Carmen (Samantha), grandsons Tyler (Jen), Keenan, Orrin, Payton, Talon, and Ronin, and granddaughters Keiana and Aaliyah.
In 2011, Roy was diagnosed with lymphoma and retired from full-time work. He spent the last few years of his life teaching his grandkids about his love of the Lord, love of the outdoors, and love of serving others. He was an amazing example of a man of God.
Roy’s great love, the outdoors in northern Canada among the spruce and pine trees, is where he wished to have his remains scattered. A private ceremony has already taken place.
Memorial donations may be sent to: Tribal Trails, NCEM, P.O. Box 3030, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 7V4, or online at www.tribaltrails.org/donate.
