Feb. 23, 1920-June 23, 2020
Our loving, patient and supportive mom, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Beacon Hill Lodge, Winnipeg, MB. Her 100th birthday was celebrated with family and friends at Beacon Hill Lodge on Feb. 23, 2020.
She is survived by her children Gail (Wilmer), Wayne (Maryann), Donna (Ken), Gwen (Dennis), 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank of 54 years, her parents, one sister and one brother.
Mom was an avid reader, a creative cook, a talented seamstress and knitter. She followed the soaps and enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and curling. She knew all the stats of the Blue Jays and curling competitions. She loved playing cards with family and friends. Her coffee pot was always on when company visited and her pantry was always full.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
The livestreamed private family funeral service was held on Saturday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. The interment followed at Piney Cemetery, with Covid-19 restrictions in place.
