Elizabeth (Bette) Robbins, age 84, of Rosa, MB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Apr. 26, 2020 at the Vita & District Health Centre following a brief illness. Bette was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to many.
Bette is survived by her beloved husband Ron, as well as her daughters Kathy (Pete) and Judy, son Colin (Paulina), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bette was born in Fort William, ON and together with her four siblings was raised by her grandmother – Elizabeth Cosgrave.
Bette and Ron were married in October 1956, and together they set off on their life adventure that would take them worldwide. She always took an interest in people and took the time to hear their story. Bette was a hobbyist and excelled in crocheting, petit point, needlepoint and numerous other crafts.
She was a friend and confidante to her children and grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Our special thanks go to Dr Ilchyna, the staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Dr Solomon and staff at the Vita & District Health Centre.
At her request, there will be no funeral service.
