PAUL DOUGLAS DENNIS JOSEPH WIENS
Mar. 25, 1966-Mar. 21, 2020
Husband, Father, Grandpa
It is with heavy hearts that we advise of the sudden and very tragic passing of Paul Wiens, my soul mate, a father, grandfather, son and friend to many, at the age of 53. While out riding our side-by-side machine in the RM of Reynolds, his life was cut short by a branch sticking out in the trail, which tragically impaled him. Paul’s life was spent making people laugh, he loved to entertain, and he will be so missed by all who knew him.
Paul was predeceased by his mother Marie Wiens (nee Pelland) in 2017. He leaves to mourn his passing his life partner Veronica Benoit, Paul’s son Myles (Brianne) Stoesz and their children Phaetyn, Ivory and Wilder, Paul’s daughter Chantelle (Favio) Dueck and their son Malachi, step-son Conrad (Megan) Benoit and their sons Kellan and Karson and Kade on the way, Brandon (Jennifer) Dolenuck, father Earl (Lisa) Wiens, step-brothers Chris (Tanya) Knelsen, Vince (Amanda) Knelsen, Dustin Knelsen, step-sister Felecia (Jason) Knelsen, sister Debbie (Murray) Penner, numerous family, lifelong friends, and anyone who had a minute to get to know this amazing man.
Due to COVID-19 we are unable to lay our friend to rest at this time. A longer obituary and celebration of life details will be announced at a later date.
