HELENA UNGER

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their mother, Helen Unger, on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020 at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 2011; her parents Reverend Peter S. and Katharina Kehler; five brothers, Jacob (stillborn), Andy, Henry, Peter and Willie; two sisters, Mary Isaac and Eva Schellenberg; brothers-in-law, Aaron Isaac, Cornelius Peters, Jake Schellenberg; and sister-in-law, Tina Kehler.
Helen will be remembered by her son Peter (Carla), daughter Pat (Leo) Schmidt, sisters Nettie Peters, Anne (Jake) Doerksen, Tina (Bill) Bergen, Frieda (Ed) Neufeld, sisters-in-law Matilda Kehler, Helen Kehler, Sara Isaac and Norma (Harry) Kehler.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Mitchell Gospel Church, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Rosengard Cemetery followed by a reception in the church reception area.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home for the exceptional care given during her stay.
