It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael J. Petroff on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 at the age of 63.
He leaves behind the love of his life, best friend and wife, Simone; mother, Glenna; sons, Michael and Matthew; brothers, David, Randy (Debbie); sister, Lori; stepchildren, Michel (Renée), Johanne (Pascal), Rachelle; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Nicola.
Anyone spending time with Mike enjoyed his wit and great sense of humour. So much laughter was shared in our home. Mike loved entertaining family and friends, being in the sun, listening to music and cooking on the BBQ.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba or Palliative Care Manitoba.
