1938-2019
On Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, surrounded by the love of his family, Gordon Penner Thiessen courageously and with dignity passed away.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter Shirley and son-in-law Rick, daughter-in-law Kim, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Norma and second wife Maxine, his son Randy and grandson J.J.
Gordon always had a smile on his face. He was a kind, caring, loving father, husband and grandfather. Gordon was a barber for 34 years. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping travel and bowling.
Deep appreciation to Pembina Place Mennonite Home; to all the staff for their wonderful care of Gordon.
Donations may be made to the Heart Foundation in Gordon’s name.
