ELMA LOEPPKY
February 26, 1934 – August 8, 2019
Elma P. Loeppky, 85, of Steinbach, MB., passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
She is survived by three brothers: Leonard (Audrey); Jake (Carol); John (Linda) and her sister Margaret Kehler, sister-in-law Frieda Loeppky, and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents Johan and Helena Loeppky, brother Peter P. Loeppky, and brother-in-law Ernie Kehler.
Elma was born in the RM of Hanover on February 26, 1934 to Johan K. and Helena Loeppky. She resided in the Niverville area until 1971, when she, with her father, moved to Steinbach. At the time of her death, she was a resident at Fernwood Place.
A family burial service was held at the Niverville Hespeler Cemetery on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
The memorial service was held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to South East Helping Hands.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the Bethesda Regional Health Centre staff for the care and compassion during Elma’s days at the hospital the past six weeks.
