David George Dawson of La Broquerie, MB, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Surrey, England on Oct. 4, 1942 and immigrated to Canada in 1987 to join his Canadian wife Katy.
David is survived by his son Richard, daughter-in-law Elaine and two granddaughters, Georgina and Harriet, who were his pride and joy.
David was a successful beekeeper in the La Broquerie area. He loved woodworking and was a master craftsman in that field. Since retiring he has had many interests such as model airplane building and flying, cooking, baking, cheese making, photography, painting and vegetable gardening. He enjoyed meeting people, debating and sharing opinions.
A private burial will be held for close friends.
Korban Funeral Chapel, Winnipeg, in charge of arrangements.
