Solange Verrier passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at the age of 98.
She will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters, Gilbert, deceased (Annette Bourrier), Roland, de-ceased (Diane Chatel), Marie-Paule (Claude Bourgouin), Victor (Gisèle Labossière), Madeleine (Jorge da Silva), Denis (Irène Pelletier), Diane (Maurice Lévesque), Angèle (Roland Kirouac), Gilles (Thérèse Marion), Armand (Cécile Harel), Réal (Louise Lévesque), Nicole (Léo Lévesque), Ginette (Gérald Jolicoeur), Hélène (Shane Shodine); 40 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Aurore Courcelles and Noëlla Simard; and two brothers, Noël Courcelles and Roger Courcelles. Also left to mourn are many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Solange cherished spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was cradling her precious grandbabies.
Viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 followed by mass at 11 a.m. at La Broquerie Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at La Broquerie Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
