Margaret Newman, 94, of Steinbach, MB, formerly of Moosehorn, MB, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at the Bethania Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, MB.
She is survived by her five children, Darrell (Ruth) and their children Joelle (Nav), Cody (Heidi); Gaylene (Dale) and their children Jillian (Ben); Randall (Joelle) and their children Amy (Wesley) and Kristen (Evan); Barry (Terry); Joycelynn (Wes) and their children Julie (fiancé Jason) and Daniel; three great-grandchildren, Naomi, Grace and Gabriel. She is also survived by one brother, Frank (Nettie), and six brothers- and sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Newman.
The funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Prairie Rose EMC Cemetery, Landmark, MB.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home - Spiritual Care, 1045 Concordia Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R2K 3S7.
The family would like to thank the Bethania staff for their kind and compassionate care.
