November 25, 1934 – January 19, 2018
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Henry Heinrichs, 83, of Kleefeld, MB, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2018.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Anne; their children, Gwen (Andy Dueck), Brad (Arlene), Warner (Marion), Marcella (Richard Reimer), Tim (Eleonore), Jeff (Audrey); thirteen grandchildren, Jared, Joel, Benjamin, Wells, Clayton, Chris, Jade, Shane, Wade, Casey, Allan, Liam and Ellyanne; and one great-granddaughter, Stephanie.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Lena (nee Harder) Heinrichs, and one sister in infancy.
Henry was born in the Plum Coulee area. Henry and Anne were married in Morden in 1960 after which they made their home in Winnipeg. Henry worked at Versatile for twenty years before he fulfilled his life-long dream of farming. Our dad was mechanically inclined which was helpful on the farm. The family had a dairy farm in Kleefeld for thirty-five years before moving into town in 2002. He instilled a strong work ethic in his children. He enjoyed spending his time with family and driving around exploring new places. His later years were spent woodworking and gardening with Anne.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with interment to follow at Mitchell Memorial Gardens, Mitchell, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Henry may be made to The Bethesda Foundation.
