August 1, 1920-October 7, 2017
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Joe on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the age of 97.
Joe will be dearly missed by his family: his loving wife of 64 years Lily, his daughter Penny (Wayne), and son David (Gwen), his grandchildren April (Kyle), and Crystal (Josh) and great grandchildren Alex, Alyssa and Blakely. He is also survived by his siblings Helen, Eddie, and Stephie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Michael and Caroline, his sisters Sophie, Mary, Gladys and brothers Stanley and Frank.
Joe was born in Kenora, ON and lived his life on his farm along the Birch River. He enjoyed farming, raising cows, leaf cutter bees and see alfalfa.
A special thank you to the staff at Whitemouth Personal Care Home for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, October 14, come and go between 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Come share a memory and story about Joe.
