Albert Bernhard Funk passed away peacefully after a long battle with kidney disease Sunday Morning, September 3, 2017 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. He was 67 years old.
Albert was predeceased by his parents Henry and Mary Funk. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 44 years, Marlene, four children and their spouses: Shawna (Wes), Jason (Julie), Kris (Chelsey) Tyler (Carmen). He is also lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren, Seth, Josiah, Hannah, Samantha, Ethan, Isabella and Finley. He had a special relationship with siblings, friends, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Albert worked for Steinbach Creamery and then was self employed delivering dairy products. He spent his later years working for Unger Poultry.
Albert held fast to his faith through the many struggles he faced during his long battle with illness.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. The burial will follow at the Silberfeld Cemetery, near New Bothwell.
