DAVID PENNER
March 6, 1949 - July 1, 2017
Dave Penner, age 68, of Ste. Anne, MB, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB.
He is survived by: his beloved wife Paula; his daughter Arlana Friesen, his sons: Francois, Warren, Kevin and Regan Penner, one granddaughter Kayla Friesen, one sister Anna Kornelsen, two brothers: Willie and Arnold Penner, and two sisters-in-law: Rose and Shirley Penner.
He was predeceased by his father Martin Penner, his mother Agatha Penner and brother-in-law Nick Kornelsen.
David and Paula were together for 30 years. He drove truck for 43 years, five of those with Reimer Express and 38 years at Penner International. He retired at the age of 65 years.
Dave loved to fix old cars, collect scrap metal and hang out at Tim Horton’s with friends over a cup of coffee.
He was kind, loving, caring, generous and a hard worker.
The funeral service for David will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with a viewing prior to the service. The interment will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
