Michael Kyryliuk, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Matt, Bill and George and sister Lillian.
Michael was a farmer and had an interest in cooking, canning, baking and visiting the old country Ukraine. He served in the Army in the Home Defense Department.
He was pleasant, sociable, lovable, with a good sense of humour and spoke his own mind. The church and community were important to him as well as helping others.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52W, Steinbach, with the interment to follow at the Vita Catholic Church Cemetery. Viewing will be prior to the service.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Vita Catholic Church.
