On the morning of Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, Agnes passed away peacefully at the age of 94, two weeks short of her 95th birthday, at the Heritage Life Personal Care Home in Niverville, MB. Mom was born in Steinbach, MB on Mar. 5, 1922.
She leaves to mourn three sons, Larry (Lyn), Gerald (Vicki), and Randy (Yolima), as well as four grandchildren, Apryl (Trevor), Laura (Marc). Matthew, Garrett; five great-grandchildren, Brenden, Carson, Miranda, Madison, Hunter; one sister-in-law, Nettie Dyck; one brother-in-law, Henry Fehler; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank and two daughters, Janet and Leona, in infancy, as well as eight sisters and four brothers.
The funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Steinbach Mennonite Church, 345 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach, MB, with interment at the Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville, MB. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service.
