DALE WIEBE
February 19, 1977 – January 4, 2017
On Wednesday, January 4, 2017, with family by his side our beloved husband, son, brother and uncle passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 39.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 5 years, Jenean (nee Hildebrandt), parents Rick and Phyllis Wiebe, sisters: Roxane (Guy Dowhy), Tara (Gus Durksen, nephew Rory, niece Kiley), Jolene, and brother Daryl (Carisa, niece Isabel). Dale will also be greatly missed by mom-in-law Debra, sister-in-law Courtney (Vince Macchia, nephew Nicholas), his fur baby KC, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his brothers and sisters on the Steinbach Fire Department.
Dale was greeted in heaven by his Grandpa and Grandma Goossen, Grandma Wiebe, Uncle Donald and Uncle Bert.
Over the past 8 years, Dale faced his battle with cancer with dignity and courage. In spite of everything, Dale’s attitude was always positive - he refused to quit and never complained about what he was going through. Even though the road was hard, he never lost his sharp, dry sense of humor.
Our family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone – family, friends, the Steinbach Fire Department - for the overwhelming love and support. From the many fundraisers that took place to the prayers and words of encouragement, we cannot adequately express how much it meant to us and Dale. We would also like to thank the many doctors and nurses at Health Science Centre, CancerCare Manitoba, and Bethesda Hospital that cared for Dale over the years.
Even though our hearts are broken, we know that Dale is in a better place, free from his suffering, his body and health restored.
God will link the broken chain,
As one by one we meet again.
Until then in our hearts you’ll always stay,
Loved and remembered every day.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Southland Church, 190 Hwy 52W, Steinbach, MB, with the interment at Heritage Cemetery. Viewing will be prior to the service.
