It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lucien Andre Chartier peacefully in his sleep at the Heritage Life Personal Care Home in Niverville, Manitoba, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in his 81st year.
Loved Father of Lucienne Cole (Don), Gerald Chartier (Chrissy), Doreen Chartier and Marc Chartier. Beloved Pepere of Nicole Tummon, Jennifer Saindon, Rheal Saindon, April Cole, Chantal Chartier, Max Chartier, Haley Forseth and beloved Great Pepere of Keira, Lukas, Hailey, and Auston. Loved by many more family and friends.
He was practically extended family to many in and around Richer, a well known long time local of Richer, Manitoba, that everyone knew and loved. Smiley was a hard worker, loved his family, lived his life to the fullest, did more than he should have and knew how to have a good time.
Our family would like to thank everyone that has helped him, supported him and loved him through the years. Your support and kindness meant the world to him and us. Smiley will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB.
