Margaret Shabaga, (nee Thiessen) died peacefully December 9, 2016 in Elisabeth Bruyere

Palliative Care Hospice, Ottawa. She is survived by her husband Sandy, son Mark, daughter Jennifer, grandson Alex. Predeceased by her parents, four brothers, five sisters; survived by Lillian, Pearl, Sadie, Andrew.

Margaret was born in Morris, February 17, 1940. Childhood years were spent in Morris and Grunthal and college years were spent in Winnipeg.

Margaret and Sandy were married August 17, 1963. Teaching was her chosen career, although she worked many jobs spanning from menial to management. Hobbies were cooking, yard work, reading and travelling. Her favorite one was singing.

Thanks go to Ottawa General Hospital and Palliative Hospice. She loved her family and community friends. Her sweet friendly personality will be missed.
