MARY SAPACH

Mary Sapach passed away in the early morning hours of October 06, 2016 at the Vita Personal Care Home at the age of 96.

She was born on November 14, 1919, the only daughter of Dmytro and Softa Badiuk of the Gardenton area. She lived in Emerson for a number of years prior to moving to Southern Ontario where she met Bill Sapach, a widower with two young daughters. They married and after the birth of their second son moved to Winnipeg. Upon retirement they moved to Gardenton where they lived until Bill’s passing. Mary then became a resident of Shady Oak in Vita where she spent many enjoyable years until her declining health made it necessary to move to the Vita Personal Care Home. She enjoyed her stay in both places and was a very active participant in all activities. No phone calls until after nine was her instruction to her family. The family wishes to thank the staff at both places for the excellent care provided and and making her final years enjoyable and comfortable.

She is survived by her daughters Helen Badiuk (Bill), Ruth Adolphe (Al), two sons Walter (Lennie) and Allan, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Softa, brothers John, Steve,

George, Nick, Bill and Wasyl, her husband Bill and daughter Christine.

Funeral Service was held October 10, 2016
