Heinrich (Henry) Wiebe, devoted father, beloved grandpa, passed away in the early hours of Thanksgiving morning, at De Salaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys. He was 67.
Born November 23, 1948, in Paraguay, he emigrated to Canada where he worked as a welder.
He is survived by his four brothers and five sisters, children: Lenard (Pauline), Erika (Tyrone), Jolante (Patrick), Jenina (Jared) and Jamie; and twelve grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Darren Reimer and the nursing staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, as well as the incredible staff at Salaberry District Health Centre for their sensitivity and exemplary level of care over the last few weeks. The family would especially like to thank Pastor Rick Neufeld of Grunthal Abundant Life Fellowship for his unwavering support and guidance.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Fellowship, #27029 Hwy 216 South, Grunthal, MB, followed by a short graveside service at Grunthal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are welcome in lieu of flowers and should be sent to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 375 York Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J3.
