TINA KROEKER
March 18, 1937 - October 10, 2016

Tina Kroeker (nee Klassen), age 79, of Steinbach, MB, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on October 10, 2016, at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB

She is survived by her loving husband, Albert, five children: Joanne (Gary Plett), Sherry (Nick Martens), Brian (Karen), Ken (Amanda), and Kim, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, three sisters, three brothers, and their families.

Mom was diagnosed with Parkinsons approximately one year ago and within the last couple of months, her health deteriorated rapidly and it became increasingly difficult to care for her, up until she was admitted to the hospital after a fall at home. Until a few days before her passing, Mom responded to the voices of loved ones, especially Dad, and maintained her incredible sense of humour. She loved listening to her music and the faithful visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who reminisced with her and reminded her how important she was to all of them, right up to the end. The week before she passed, Mom said that when she left the hospital we would have a big party – you're right, Mom, you are enjoying the most amazing party with Jesus by your side.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and Health Care Aides in the Palliative Care Unit, who took such good care of Mom, with special thanks to Jackie and Suchi. We would also like to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Steinbach Evangelical Mennonite Church, Steinbach, MB. Viewing will be prior to the service.

If friends so desire, donations in memory of Tina may be made to the charity of one's choice.
