Evelyn (Harder) Milliken, age 72, of Surrey, BC, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016.
She is survived by her loving husband Jim, son Leighton (Sarah) and family, and daughter Cynthia (David) and family. She will also be dearly missed by her mother Mary Reimer and her four sisters, Olga (Peter), Elma (Ross), Debra (Bryan), Laura (Ben), two brothers, David (Sharon) and Milton (Colleen), and their families. She is also survived by four step-sisters and three step-brothers, Audrey (Earl), Donna (Arnie), Kent (Charlene), Kathy and their families, and also many friends.
She was predeceased by her father Peter Harder, sister Justina, brothers Frank and Harry, sister-in-law Ruth, her step-father Ben Reimer, and step-brother Bruce.
Evelyn loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed travelling and was very interested in genealogy. Many wonderful dishes were made in her kitchen, to serve and/or give away, and she was very meticulous about how they were prepared. She will truly be missed.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. at Surrey Alliance Church, 13474 – 96th Ave, Surrey, BC.
