No more pain fighting your diabetes for 18 years and no more heart attacks. You now can walk, your legs are finally strong; thank you for being my brother and two weeks ago sharing your time with Olga and me. You made us laugh, laugh and laugh. You are the best brother protector of Olga and I. You never pick sides of your family; you loved them all. We will pick those mushrooms, blueberries and saskatoons together.

John was known to be creative with art, painting diamond willow homemade canes, a gardener, hunter, carpenter, plumber, electrician; you had no papers for that, you were self-taught. He loved to cook and can from his garden until his illness took over. He was a man with many talents. He was well known wherever he lived; he was also loved and well respected. Rest in peace our big brother. Love, your family.
