ART SCHULTZ
December 5, 1916 - August 2, 2016
Peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, Art Schultz age 99, passed away at Bethesda Place Personal Care Home, Steinbach, MB.
He was predeceased by his wife Emily and son Raymon.
He is survived by daughter-in-law Joan, four grandchildren: Duane (Marina), Sandra (Larry), Yvonne (Ron), Sherry (Darren); nine great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Also left behind are two brothers and one sister.
Art was born on December 5, 1916.
He was proud of his accomplishment of singing in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Choir for 65 years. Grandpa sang right until the end singing himself to sleep. Grandpa also enjoyed telling stories about his days at John Deere where he spent 26 years working in the service department and doing deliveries. He found great passion in his large garden in his back yard and if that wasn’t enough he also passed on his love of gardening to Duane on his old Farm property.
Grandpa was a great role model to us all teaching us about faith, love and kindness.
Grandpa was a great gift to us and many others. He will truly be missed.
Rest in peace Grandpa.

The viewing will take place on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB, with a devotional at 7:30 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 465 Henry St, Steinbach, MB. The interment to follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Steinbach, MB. Viewing also prior to the service.
