Peacefully on Thursday July 21, 2016 (Mom, Nana, Billie) Willa May Kumhyr was reunited with her husband Maurice Allan Kumhyr and daughter Sherry Lee.
Although Mom (Willa, Billie) had it rough for the last few years, since the recent passing of her husband and her illness she remained an extremely strong and loving women.
Billie missed her home and friends at East Braintree where she lived most of her life, but loved her time living in Portage La Prairie.
Mom spent much of her time with family, working on puzzles, cross word books, and watching the Amazing Race or fix it shows on TV.
Survived by daughter Tracy and grandson Zander; daughter Gayle, (Patrick) & her granddaughter Kenzi and all her brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Viscount Gort, 1670 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB. There will be an opportunity for an open mic, so please be prepared to share memories of Mom from the podium.
We will love you always and miss you dearly.
