ANNA PENNER FRIESEN
February 6, 1921 – July 20, 2016
Anna Penner Friesen (nee Friesen) passed away July 20, 2016 at Rest Haven Nursing Home at the age of 95 years old.
She is survived by one son Tony (Valerie) Penner and their family, one daughter Ruth (Marvin) Harder and their family and one daughter-in-law (Nettie) Penner and her family. Also the extended Friesen step-children, one brother, and two sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her first husband Diedrich S Penner, her second husband Abe S Friesen, one son Menno Penner, one step son, and one step-son-in-law.
The family would like to thank Rest Haven for the love and care they provided for Mom for the last 8 years. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Rest Haven Nursing Home.
The funeral service was held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB, with the interment at New Bothwell Sommerfeld Church Cemetery following the reception.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Anna may be made to the Haven Group Foundation (in memo line: Rest Haven Nursing Home), Steinbach, MB.
