It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Berg of Piney, Manitoba on June 2, 2016 at the Life Care Medical Centre in Roseau, Minnesota.
Dad is survived by his children, sons; Gerald (Nancy) and Kelly (Chris). Daughters; Marion (Len), Marilyn (Lloyd), Darlene (Brad),and Shelley (Darryl) as well as
20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and 2 sister in laws.
Dad was born south of Piney, Manitoba to John and Martha Berg. He was employed with the Department of Natural Resources, where after 29 years he retired.Dad lived his life to the fullest right to the very end.
He will be missed by all, especially his big smile.
Special Thanks to the doctors and nurses for all their kindness and care.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 -1:00pm at the Piney Community Hall Piney, Manitoba with burial at the Menisino Cemetery Menisino, Manitoba.
