PAULINE SENKIW
September 21, 1923 - May 8, 2016
With great sadness, we six brothers announce the unexpected passing of our beautiful Mom, Pauline Senkiw, on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB.
Pauline was the third child of Michael Konowalchuk (1967) and Emily Procyshen (1948), was born on September 21, 1923, in Pansy, MB.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter (2004) after 61 years of marriage, sisters: Jane (1936), Mary (2006), Ann (2002), brother Norman (2006) and grandson Ryan (1980).
She is survived by sisters: Helen, Sophie (Fred), Sally (Joe); sister-in-law Marusia and brother Peter (Karen).
In Mom’s 92 years, she was blessed to have six boys: Lawrence (Lorna), Norman (Sandi), Bob, Alvin, Wayne (Maria) and Dale; 11 grandchildren: Michelle (Jason), Allison (Rob), Andrea, Steve, Stacy (Mike), Michaela, Shelby, Madison, Joel, Jon (Brittany) and Jeremy; great-grandchildren: Megan, Lucas, Alexandra (Chad), Elliot, Ana, Ben, Lola, Brooklyn, Evalyn, and Jack; and one great-great-grandson Parker.
The viewing will take place on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 6:30-7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W., Steinbach, MB, with a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing prior to the service. The interment will follow at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Sarto, MB.
