Walter Schroeder, age 59, of Sanford, passed away on Monday, April 4 at the Victoria General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, daughter Erin, mother-in-law Eileen Martel, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Walter was predeceased by parents Peter & Henrietta Schroeder, father-in-law Helmut Martel, and brother Wayne.
In 1996 Walter & Grace purchased A-Post Aluminum which they operated until their retirement in 2013. Walter took immense pride in his work, whether it was a ladder hidden away inside a building or a railing on a prominent bridge. Nothing gave him more pleasure than to drive around the city or province and see his work.
Cremation and a private family service to take place with burial at a later date in his hometown of Rosenfeld.
