TINA FROESE (NEE LEPPKY)
October 15, 1927 - March 28, 2016
Tina Froese, 88, of Niverville, MB passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the DeSalabery District Health Centre, St. Pierre, MB.
She was born to the late Aganetha and Peter P. Leppky on October 15, 1927. She was baptized in 1948 and was married to the late John Froese on June 11, 1949.
Tina leaves behind two daughters: Barb and John Friesen, Kathy and Harold Martens; and one son, Jack and Rita Froese. Grandchildren: Mike (Samantha) Friesen and Tony Friesen (friend Brittany), Kristin (Mike) Braun, Andrea (Steve) Alguire, Loreen (Peter) Deacon, and Allison (Cory) Friesen. Great-grandchildren: Matthew, Parker and Alex Friesen, Cassidy and Austin Friesen, Grant and Evan Braun, Kiana and Maleah Alguire, Alivia Martens and Kody Deacon, Carter, Matea, Macy and Ryker Friesen; brother-in-law Joe Toews, and chosen brother Raymond (Carol) Unger, as well as many other relatives and friends. Tina was predeceased by her husband, John Froese, a baby boy who passed away before he was born and her grandchildren, David, Nita and Alicia and her granddaughter Lyse. Her parents, Peter P. and Aganetha Leppky, infant brother Andrew, and her only sister Nita Toews.
In her honour, donations may be made to the Union Gospel Mission. Thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses, and aides at St. Pierre Hospital who went above the call of duty for Mom.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with an open casket and burial at 2:30 p.m. at the Hespeler Cemetery.
