It is with great sorrow and with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Denise Mireault, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Monday, March 7, 2016, just shy of her 80th birthday.

Also left to mourn are her grandchildren: Jocelyne, Amber, Stéphanie, Daniel, Drew, Daphne, Robyn, David, Mallory, Catherine, Josée; and her great-granddaughter Olivia. She leaves behind her siblings: Céline Schultz, Rollande & Gérard Bohémier, Pauline Labossière, François Manaigre, Émile Manaigre and sisters-in-law, Rita Manaigre, Lucille Mireault and Louise Mireault.
Denise was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lucien Mireault and by her brothers: Louis, Roger and brothers-in law: Donat Labossière, John Schultz, Jacques Mireault, Joseph Mireault, Martin Mireault, and sister-in law Yvonne Mireault.
Denise was born in Lorette, MB on March 10, 1936, the eldest child to Joseph Manaigre and Géralda Champagne. On July 2, 1957, she married Lucien Mireault and settled in La Broquerie, MB, and raised her family. She later relocated to Steinbach, MB. Denise’s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren and she loved to be surrounded by her family. She was an avid reader and travelled the world through her novels. In her younger years she excelled in various mediums such as oil and pastels that captured her creativity in her many drawings and paintings. Later in life she enjoyed spending her days quilting and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed going for daily walks and feeding her birds.
Maman/mémère touched us all with her warmth and kindness. She was a pillar of strength, courage and love and we were blessed to have her in our lives.
La perte de notre chère maman/mémère laisse un vide profond dans nos vies, mais notre foi et nos souvenirs nous donneront confort. Un jour, on se reverra.
Prayers will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with mass following at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church in La Broquerie, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
