It is with sadness we announce the passing of Florence Eileen Spence (nee Francis) peacefully at the Emerson Personal Care Home with family by her side after a long battle with kidney disease brought on by diabetes.
Mom is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years Ronald Spence, her children Dave (Darlene), Cindy (Milton), Lori (Barry), Randy, Kevin (Shelley), and Kristi (Andrew), 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Martha Ann (Wilkinson) and Herbert Stephen Francis.
We would like to thank the staff at the Emerson Personal Care Home for all their loving care that they gave Mom. We know she was always well looked after and she loved being there because of it.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Greenridge United Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation.
