ROBERT JOSEPH PARENT
April 18, 1967 – January 10, 2016

Robert Joseph Parent, peacefully passed away at his home in Blumenort, MB, on Sunday, January 10, 2016, with his loved ones by his side.

Rob was born April 18, 1967 to Anne-Marie Rougeau and Jean-Paul Parent.

He is survived by his wife Kim; his two daughters: Danielle (Mark) and Rachelle; stepson Mason (Courtney); and two grandsons: Hunter and Kaileb; and his mother-in-law Chris. He is also survived by his siblings: Freda, Colette, Norman, Linda, Gilbert, Rheal, Monique and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents and father-in-law John.

As we mourn the physical absence of Rob, we also celebrate a life filled with love, laughter and irreplaceable memories.

Rob lived a very fulfilling life, full of adventures, and no matter the situation, he always found a reason to smile. He had a gift, and that was to make any situation the best it could possibly be.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors, and nurses at Steinbach Cancer Care for their outstanding care and loving kindness they provided for him.

that you are always in my thoughts,
and how much I love you so.
I know you are in God’s care,
and that is how it should be.
But when I get to heaven,
he will have to give you back to me.”

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB, R5G 1M1, with the interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
