(nee Tyler)
May 14, 1925 – Nov. 9, 2015

Passed away peacefully on November 9, 2015 at Rest Haven Personal Care Home in Steinbach. May is survived by sons Harold (Bernice), Bert (Gisele), daughter Marcedith (Jack) grandchildren; Geoffrey (Nahannai), Derek (Andrea), Collin, Clayton (Tracy), Blake (Erin), Diana (Mark), Michael (Anelia), Candace (Bill), J.J., Carol Anne (Keith), Dylan, and Brock, 18 great grandchildren, brother, Jim Tyler (Doris) and numerous nephews and nieces.

May was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1994, sons David and Norman, 2 grandchildren William and Darryl, brothers, Hiram, Grant, Ben, Duane, sisters Emma, Irene and their spouses as well several brother and sister in laws.

May was born in Riding Mountain, MB to Norman and Reba Tyler on May 14, 1925. May moved to Piney with her family in 1946 and in 1950 married Alfred Grawberger. They took over the Grawberger family mixed farming operation and May resided there until November 2011 when she moved to Steinbach.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the caring staff and volunteers at the Rest Haven Personal Care Home for making “Miss May” feel so appreciated.

Funeral services will be held at the International Christian Fellowship Church in Piney, MB at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Badger Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Badger Community Cemetery.
