MARY BANMAN DUECK
October 28, 1938 - September 24, 2015
Mary Dueck went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, September 24, 2015. She leaves behind her three children: Shirley Wall, Lorna Morton, Robert Dueck and their families (seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren); as well as three sisters: Helen Hiebert, Anne Banman, and Esther Doerksen; two brothers: Jake Banman and John Banman and their families.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, George Dueck; two children at birth, Katherine and Gordon and her parents, John and Katherina Banman.
Mary was born in New Bothwell, where she lived the first 60 years of her life, raising her family and working various positions at Bothwell Cheese for 26 years. Mary enjoyed life, which included making lots of friends along the way. Activities she enjoyed were going to garage sales with Abe and Evelyn Enns and playing games with Tina Doerksen.
The viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m at the Bothwell Christian Fellowship Church, New Bothwell, with a private family burial prior to the service.
