TOM LADOBRUK
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear, beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, Tom Ladobruk. Tom went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Vita District Hospital, Vita, Manitoba.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Patricia, his stepchildren: Melvin, Sylvia, Joanne, Dianne and Samuel. Tom was his stepchildren’s high school teacher and a very special one indeed. He is also survived by three nieces: Marcy Shewchuk and her family, Elizabeth Boettcher and her family, and Kathy Martell; as well as two nephews: Danny Hust and Tommy Moro.
Tom’s first wife, Nettie, predeceased him in 1996, as well as his sisters: Lena, Stella, Mary and Katherine; and brother Harry.
Tom was born on October 11, 1925 in Sarto, Manitoba. Tom spent 37 years as a high school teacher. He was kind and considerate, and always the gentleman with a positive outlook.
Tom, you will always live in my heart and then one day we will be reunited in Heaven for eternity.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB. Burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
Great appreciation and a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Vita District Hospital, for your exceptional love and care for Tom and family.
