WESLEY PLETT
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved husband, father and grandfather, Wesley. He left us peacefully on Saturday; August 15, 2015 at his home in Virden, Manitoba, too soon, at the age of 76 years.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 52 years, Helen. He will be sadly missed by her and his children, Denise, Randy (Wendy) and Tracy (Patrick) Douglas, and by his precious grandchildren, Karin, Courtney and Sarah.
Wes is survived by his sisters Evelyn, Laverna, Rose (Peter) and Diana (Neil), brothers Lorne (Jennie) and Richard (Carol) and brother-in-law Lloyd along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Wes was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anna, brother Jerome and sister Leanna.
The funeral service was held at G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden, Manitoba Thursday; August 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
We wish to thank Dr. Roux and all the nurses with Virden and Area Palliative Care who assisted throughout Wes’ short but devastating illness for their superlative care, kindness and compassion. We will forever treasure the time we were able to spend with our dear father and husband because of their extraordinary efforts.
