January 19, 1958 – June 17, 2015

On June 17, 2015, Robert Horbul aged 57 years old passed away at his home. Robert was predeceased by his mother Anne (Sokoliwski) (1971), his father William (1998), his infant sister Mary (1971) and his brothers Richard (1996) and Randy (2014). He leaves behind his brothers, Dennis, Garry (Pam), Mark and Melvin (Aimee) as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his Aunt Diane Roy and his Uncle Bill Sokoliwski and their respective families who were very special to him, as well as his cousin and friend Ken Podolsky.

Robert was a very dedicated employee giving many years of service to Warren’s Cartage and Borland Construction. When Robert’s health began to fail a few years ago, he was forced to stop working which was very hard for him to do. He enjoyed driving trucks as well as purchasing many of his own over the years. He also loved his cats and has had several over his lifetime offering up his love and attention.

Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Friday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Tolstoi, Manitoba on Saturday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Parish Cemetery.
