Mrs. Margaret Newton, age 95 years, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
She was a resident of Jasper Place and she cherished the many friendships made during her time there. Margaret was born in Rosenfeld, Manitoba on August 20, 1919, the daughter of Peter and Margaretha Loewen.
She is survived by her sons Charles (Marcia) and Lawrence (Michelle), grandchildren Adam, Kaitlyn, Jeremy, Natalie and Tyler, 3 brothers and 2 sisters as well by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank, her parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street.
As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Jasper Place Support Program would be appreciated.
