Peacefully with family at her side, Esther Sawatzky passed away June 17, 2015 at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris, Manitoba at the age of 80 years.
She is survived by her husband Henry; her children: John (Joyce), Margaret Tonn, Rudy (Sharon), Herman (Sandy), Albert (Brenda), and Shirley (Greg) Janzen; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; one sister Tina Broesky and two brothers: Jacob and Peter Dueck.
Esther was predeceased by her parents Bernhard and Elizabeth Dueck; son-in-law Edward Tonn; Sisters Mary Dueck and Helen Sawatzky; brother Ben Dueck and one brother in infancy.
The funeral service for Esther was held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Morris Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial at the Morris Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Fraser and the caring and very patient staff at the Red River Valley Lodge.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Esther may be made to the Red River Valley Lodge.
