On May 14, 2015, David Wiebe, age 95 of Grunthal Menno Home, went peacefully to be with his Saviour.
He is survived by his beloved wife Katherine, and four children: Agatha Klassen, John Wiebe (Wanda), Clara Ball (Peter), and Tilly Neufeld (Len), seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law Jasch Klassen.
David Wiebe was a minister in the CMC (Chortitzer Church) for 20 years.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, May 22 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB. There will also be a viewing at the chapel prior to the service.
Funeral service for David Wiebe will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach with interment to follow at Grunthal Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Menno Home for their excellent care and compassion.
