Jacob (Jake) R. Friesen of Enderby, BC, passed away suddenly, at the age of 58 years, of a heart attack. Jacob grew up and attended school in the Silberfeld and Landmark, MB area.
He was predeceased by his parents Martin N. (1986) and Mary (2015) Friesen.
As a young man he ventured west and developed a passion for a clean environment and beauty of nature. He enjoyed planting trees, working in orchards and wood-crafting.
He is survived by his sister Mary (Robert) Hink of Phoenix, AZ; brother Peter of Chestermere, AB; sister Bettie (Allen) Toews of Steinbach, MB; brother John (Barbara) of Silberfeld, MB; sister Agnes (Ray) Wolgemuth of Steinbach, MB; brother Marty of Steinbach, MB; brother Neil (Wendy) of Niverville, MB; sister Kathy Friesen (Edwin) of Kenora, ON; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service pending.
