ALLAN WIEBE

Allan Wayne Wiebe was born on October 25, 1957 to Peter and Lillian Wiebe. He passed away, April 4, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer. He faced this battle with so much courage.

Allan leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife Cindy, of 26 years; children: Shane, Tiffany, and Sabrina; two granddaughters Sierra and Tiana, who were very special to Allan; Allan’s siblings: Leonard (Ann), Lorna & friend, Sue & friend, and Adele (Mike); Cindy’s siblings: Faye (Abe), Dwayne (Carla), Holly (Dan), James and John and all of their families.

Allan worked at CT Loewens until he was laid off in 1993, which started the next chapter of his life as Mr. Mom.

Allan had a passion for cooking, and also collecting. He was a collector of many treasures. You would always see Allan at a yard or garage sales, or at the MCC store acquiring these treasures.

He got into flowers, he loved roses and angel trumpets. He had a green thumb when it came to these.

Allan was predeceased by his parents and brother David.

The family would like to thank the nurses in palliative care: Ruby, Debbie and Pauline; Dr. Krahn and Dr. Reimer, along with the staff at Bethesda Hospital.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach, MB, with viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at the Mitchell Memorial Gardens.
