ALINE LUCIENNE MARIE FOURNIER
(nee BONIN)
October 27, 1934 – February 26, 2015
Aline passed away peacefully at her home at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne on Thursday February 26, 2015. She leaves to mourn her children: Marcelle (Bob), Roger (Paulette), Lise (Henri), Gerald, Ginette (Robert), and Jean; grandchildren: David (Charlene), Francine (Jack), Jarrod (Megan), Eric (Andrea), Luc (Catherine), Melanie (Gilbert), Renel, Stephanie, Kristin, and Marissa; and three great grandsons: Nicholas, Christian, and Samuel. She is survived by siblings: Lorraine, Roland (Wanda), Denis (Jane), Lucille, Edouard, Ernest (Lise), Marina (Jean), Raynald (Susan) Alain, (Elise), and Laurance (Mike); and many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Lucien and sister Yvette.
Aline was born in Marchand on October 27, 1934 and spent most of her life in La Broquerie. She raised a family and was an avid gardener as well as a phenomenal cook. She always had a welcoming smile and easy laughter. Rest well maman, you will live forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southern Health - Palliative Care Program and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
The family wishes to thank all who cared for our mother so kindly.
Prayers will commence at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7th at the St. Joachim Parish in LaBroquerie. Ash interment at a later date.
