Owen Reid Wollmann, age 17 months, of Mitchell, MB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at home.
He is survived by his parents Michael and Claudia Wollmann and his brother Lance.
When Owen was five days old, he was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. He was given only weeks to live. He surpassed all expectations, beat the odds, and gave us 17 months of Joy. He was our little fighter. He gave us many smiles, giggles, and made unique sounds that we couldn’t imitate.
Owen enjoyed playing with his older brother, Lance. He always looked up to his older brother with a glimmer in his eye.
Owen touched many hearts and will be dearly missed. We love you Owen.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Springs Church, 179 Chapel Drive, Steinbach, MB. Burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Owen may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, or Ronald McDonald House.
