Bernhard K. Dueck from Morden, Manitoba went to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 25, 2014 at the age of 77 yrs. old. Dad passed away while at the Menno Home in Grunthal, Manitoba.
Dad is predeceased by his parents, Bernhard and Elizabeth Dueck, 2 sisters, Mary and Helen, 2 brothers-in-law, Abe Sawatzky and Peter Friesen, and 1 sister-in-law, Margaret Dueck. He leaves to be remembered; his wife Agnes, nee Klassen; son Dennis & Debbie Dueck and family; son Alan & Debbie Dueck and family; daughter Liz-Anne & Murray Mitchell and family; daughter Virginia & John Klassen and family. As well as his sisters and brothers and their families; Helen & Abe Sawatzky’s family, Esther & Henry Sawatzky and their family, Jake & Alice Dueck and their family, Tina & Jake Broesky and their family; and Peter Dueck.
Our family wishes to thank all involved in this lengthy process. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for dad during his stay in various hospitals and most recently in the Grunthal Menno Home. Your work is very much appreciated. As well, thank you to Mom & Dad’s church community. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
There will be two viewings at Wiebe’s Funeral Home in Morden, Mb. to accommodate those from further away. The first on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and the last on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. The burial will be Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Southside Cemetery in Morden, Mb. You are welcome to attend if you so wish.
The memorial service will be held December 29, 2014 at the Morden Mennonite Church, 363 Gilmour St, Morden, MB at2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
