In the early morning hours of September 23, 2014, Peter D. Friesen passed away quietly in his sleep at the Heritage Life Personal Care Home at the age of 84 years and 25 days.
Left to remember him are: his beloved wife of 61 years, Helen, son Merv (Ivy), daughters Kathy (Larry) and Teresa (Roger); 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four sisters and three brothers.
Peter was predeceased by: two children in infancy, Marilyn Marie and Peter Brian; one great-grandchild, Victor III Miguel Vargas; his parents Peter T. and Elizabeth Friesen, two sisters and one brother.
Special thanks to Dr. Chris Burnett and the staff at Heritage Life Personal Care Home for the compassionate care they gave Peter.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Niverville Community Fellowship, 116 Third Avenue South, Niverville, with viewing at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peter may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4G2.
